I'm back again and we made the Playoffs??
Ya, I said I would come back soon. 5 weeks is soon ok!!! ANYWAY, I am sure you know the NHL has a plan to come back. Basically in 4 Phases. I won't go through everything but if you want you can read this on nhl.com....
So that means the Edmonton Oilers make the Playoffs! REJOICE! WE DID IT! Modified sure but it still counts. The Oilers have been placed in the 5 seed vs the Blackhawks. All of the matchups have been based on point %. As for where and when, well that is still to be decided. There are a bunch of hub cities being decided on and Edmonton is one of those cites being mentioned.
I highly doubt that if Edmonton is picked as one of the 2 hub cities that they will play at home. Edmonton does seem like a good spot to host games however I think the NHL will pick Columbus and Vegas. Columbus has the arenas to it and enough hotels and we all know what Vegas can do in a short time.
All in all I am very excited that we might actually get sports maybe. Phase 2 of the NHL relaunch plan starts this month and Phase 3 is set to start on July 10. This is where training camps will start. In the next couple of days I will hopefully make some sort of preview for the first round between the Hawks and the Oil. But you know me, the next couple of days could mean months from now! Here's to the Playoffs!!
