Bouchard up/Bruins/Western Road Trip.

Its been a minute!!! I am very excited because in 1 week I will be inside the T-Mobile Arena watching the Oilers (Hopefully with McDavid???????) take on Vegas. But let us get into the upcoming couple of games and some news.

1. First Oscar Klefbom has been injured. It's his shoulder so that's a big yikes. That means he is on the IR and Evan Bouchard has been called up. The 20 year old has 33 points in 50 games the the AHL Condors. I only see this as a move to give Bouchard an NHL Paycheck for a week. He may play 1-2 games while the Oil get healthy. Word on the street Kris Russell is primed for a return soon and that will most likely move Bouch back down the ladder.

2. The big bad Bruins are in town tonight for an early start. 6:30 in Edmonton is weird but heck I'll take it! LINES!!

Oilers:

RNH - Draisaitl - Yamamoto

Benson - Sheahan - Archibald

Gagner - Haas - Chiasson

Khaira - Cave - P. Russell

Nurse - Bear

Jones - Larsson

Lagesson - Benning

Smith

Bruins:

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak Debrusk - Krejci - Kuhlman Bjork - Coyle - Heinen Nordstrom - Kuraly - Wagner

Chara - McAvoy Krug - Carlo Grzelcyk - Lauzon

Rask

Obviously that 1st line is a problem. Also Jake Debrusk is playing in front of his home city for the 3rd time ever. In the 5 games he has played vs the Oilers he has no points so look for him to get a hat trick or something.

The Bruins are 9-1 in their last 10 and are STEAMING HOT!

3. After tonight the Oilers take on Minny on Friday and then head out on the road to California and Vegas. Starting Sunday they have 3 games in 4 nights. Its an oppurtunity to taker advantage of teams like the Kings and Ducks before you play Vegas, who is tied as of right now, for 1st place.

I am excited for tonight and excited for the Playoff push! Now someone wake up Ken Holland and tell him to make a trade!

WHO WINS TONIGHT?
