McDavid injured 2-3 weeks.

It was announced this morning by GM Ken Holland that Connor McDavid sustained an injury in the win over Nashville on Saturday. BECAUSE OF COURSE RIGHT!?!? This comes at a time where they cant afford to be losing anybody to injury let alone the best player in the world. Estimated time that he will be back is 2-3 weeks which will take him to right around the start of March.

So now what? PANIC! Here is what I think the lines will most likely be without Connor in.

Archibald - Draisaitl - Yamo

Gags - RNH - Kassian

Chiasson - Sheahan - Khaira

Haas - Cave - P Russell

These are based on Neal not being healthy and the Oilers not bringing anybody up like a Benson or Granlund.

2 months ago the Oilers needed to do something on the trade market. Its now or never for old Kenny Holland. The forward group needs work obviously. Trading for a competent 3rd line centre is a must right now and I wouldn't be mad at trading one of our defense men with money attached to do it. Adam Larsson or Kris Russell and a pick for some help up front please and thank you. Tonight vs Chicago is a tough one now with now Connor but with Arizona, Calgary and Vancouver winning yesterday this is a must win game!
