Bounce Back Night!
Happy Hockey Day in Canada! All 7 Canadian teams are in action including the Edmonton Oilers taking on the Predators. The Preds have really bounced back after the All Star Game. 6-4 in their last 10 and are just 1 point out of a playoff spot! They are also looking for their 3rd straight win.
Players who have killed the Oilers in the past include Ryan Johansen who has 9 points in his last 11 games vs the Oil and Filip Forsberg has been a point per game player vs Edmonton and we all know what he did last time these two met....
Expect these to be the lines for Nashville
Duchene - Johansen - Granlund
Forsberg - Turris - Smith
Grimaldi - Bonino - Arvidsson
Trenin - Sissons - Blackwell
Josi - Fabbro
Tinordi - Ekholm
Hamhuis - Weber
Most likely Rinne in net
For the Oilers we have some changes.
Gagner - McDavid - Kassian
RNH - Draisaitl - Yamamoto
Benson - Haas - Chiasson
Khaira - Sheahan - Archibald
Kefbom - Larsson
Nurse - Bear
Jones/Lagesson - Benning
No confirmation on the goalie. I would expect Smith
For the Oilers it's time to bounce back. Especially when every team in their division is playing for the most part. Need more out of the top line and need to see if Khaira actually wants to be an NHLer.
Happy Hockey Day in Canada!
