Pacific Division wins All Star Game.

So let's be honest, the all star game isn't one for the highlight reel but the Edmonton Oilers had a couple of all stars representing! How did they do?

Connor McDavid
Captain Connor was a bit of a non factor in the first game with only 1 point and 4 shots on goal. The pacific won the first game 10-5. In the second game he was all over the score sheet. 3 assists and 1 shot on goal. The big news coming from Connor over the weekend was the documentary that aired after the skills competition. We are all thankful for captain Connor and his amazing leg!
Leon Draisaitl
His new nickname should be "The Real MVP". In the 1st game he scored a hat trick and added an assist. The big news coming when Matthew Tkachuk assisted on his first goal and they started fighting on the ice right after because, battle of Alberta! In reality nothing happened other than some friendly banter between the two!
The second game was a little less eventful for the Deutschland Dangler as he scored once and added an assist. IMO he should've been the MVP of the game/games/whatever we are calling this. 6 points AND his team won! David Pastrnak won the honour by scoring the same amount of points but lost the game. But who am I to say anything I am just a homer Oilers fan.
All of this being said, the all star game really doesn't mean much and I can speak for all Oilers fans when I say, can we get on with the rest of the season yet?
Next game: Wednesday Against the Flames.
